Malie recipes for a healthy breakfast for the kids

Are your mornings with your kids quite lively and busy too? Don’t forget to take time for the most important meal of the day.😊

Breakfast is very important for the children, anyway it is often forgotten because of the strong wish to play, go out in nature or prepare for school. We can imagine breakfast as a fuel – kid’s whole body, including the brain, receives new energy for a good start of the day. We have prepared some nutritious and delicious children’s breakfast ideas, for which you do not need more than 5 minutes.

Homemade kids granola

Ingredients

Directions

Preheat the oven to 180° C. Place the coconut oil in a small bowl over a pan and heat until it melts. Add honey and vanilla extract, then mix well. Then, mix all the ingredients together, place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for about 30 minutes.

Prepare the granola in advance and store it. For a delicious breakfast add the granola into yogurt or milk.

Carrot energy balls

Ingredients

Directions

Add all the ingredients in a food processor and mix them to get a slightly sticky but compact mass. If the mass is too dry, add another tablespoon of water, and if it is too wet, add an extra tablespoon of coconut flour. From the mass, form balls and roll them in coconut flour.

Ingredients

Directions

Prepare the yogurt bars a day before. In a bowl, mix the honey and yogurt. Spread the mixture on a tray lined with baking paper. Sprinkle the oatmeal and fruit over the mixture and let it settle. Cover the tray with foil and place it in the freezer overnight. Take out from the freezer, place the baking paper on a cutting board and cut into bars.

Oat porridge with banana

Ingredients

Directions

Heat the pan with the milk and water to a medium temperature. When it boils, add the oat flakes and a pinch of salt. Stir and cook for about 5-7 minutes. Place the oatmeal in a bowl. Peel and cut the banana, and add it on top of the porridge. Top with agave syrup.

Choco drink

Raw and organically grown cocoa drink, sweetened only with coconut sugar and enriched with natural source of calcium from the seaweed Lithothamnium calcareum. It is a great alternative to regular cocoa.

Mix two tablespoons of cocoa with hot water, plant-based drink or milk, wait 2-3 minutes and enjoy it.
