Nutella cake – recipe

Are you also among those who simply want extremely sweet cakes? Then this Nutella cake is perfect for you. That’s right! We all know that chocolate helps us relax and feel better.

 

I wonder if you’ve ever heard of a perfectly healthy Nutella spread? You’re definitely wondering what would be its ingredients. The answer and the simple recipe that will impress you, can be found below.

Ingredients for healthy Nutella

200g of hazelnuts, ½ a cup of bio raw cocoa powder, ½ a cup of coconut oil, ½ a cup of agave syrup, ½ teaspoon of Himalayan salt and ½ teaspoon of vanilla mix in a blender until smooth texture (you may add a bit more oil for more liquid spread, if desired).

Biscuit ingredients:

  • 6 eggs
  • 120 g coconut sugar
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 180 g flour
  • 1 bag of baking powder
  • 4 – 5 spoons of the healthy Nutella
  • cocoa butter

Ingredients for the filling:

  • 0,5 l sweet cream
  • 5 spoons of the healthy Nutella

To prepare this divine Nutella cake we need only few simple ingredients, a little more time and a lot of good will.

Directions 

Before you start making the biscuit, it is important to take the eggs out of the fridge, as the ingredients must have a similar temperature when mixing. Do the same with the healthy Nutella, in case you keep it in the fridge.

Next step is the baking pan, which we have to prepare in such a way that the biscuit will not stick to it and make sure that it will be the same height from all sides. Therefore, coat the bottom of the baking pan with cocoa butter and lightly sprinkle it with flour. Finish the preparations by heating the oven to 150 degrees Celsius.

 

Our cooking challenge may begin!

First, prepare two bowls and 6 eggs, which are separated into egg whites and yolks. Use the egg whites to make hard snow and slowly add half the amount of coconut sugar. Add the other half of the coconut sugar to the yolks and get a yellow-white mixture by stirring. Stir until the mixture becomes fluffy, then you can add the healthy Nutella.

Sift the flour and mix it with the baking powder. In the bowl with the yolks, first add 1/3 of the snow, and then the mixture of baking powder and flour. Add the rest of the snow and use a whisk to mix everything lightly (so that the snow is not destroyed).

Now the biscuit is ready and can be poured into a baking pan and then placed in the oven. Bake the biscuit at 150 degrees Celsius for the first 30 minutes, then raise the temperature to 165 degrees Celsius and bake for another 30 minutes. To fully bake the biscuit, after one hour of baking, raise the temperature to 180 degrees Celsius. After an hour and a half of baking, check with a toothpick whether it is baked (if the dough sticks to the toothpick when you pull it out, it means that it is not baked yet). If the biscuit is not baked yet, leave it in the oven for a few more minutes. When baked, take the biscuit out and let it cool, then cut it horizontally into three layers.

Nutellina torta – recept

Next step is the Nutella filling or the healthy Nutella spread recipe.

Slowly, and not too much, beat the cream (which will limit the amount of splattering). When the cream is just right, whisk the Nutella carefully into the cream. Try the filling and if desired add another tbs. of Nutella.

 

In the end, mix all together

We need some milk to moisten all three layers of the biscuit, then spread 1/3 of the filling on all of them. The remaining 2/3 of the filling is used to coat the cake. Finally, you can add crushed cocoa beans or cocoa powder to the top of the cake.

Fresh (raspberries, strawberries, blueberries) or dried fruits (goji berries, mangoes) can be used to decorate the Nutella cake. And the cake is ready! Bon appetite!
