The chestnut is an autumn fruit which can be used in various dishes. Its advantage is definitely that you can pick it yourself in the nearest forest. We have prepared an easy recipe for chestnut cubes for you.
What are the ingredients?
– 300 gr of (crushed) boiled chestnuts
– 160 gr of melted dark chocolate or cocoa powder
– half a cup of coconut cream (you can also use regular cream)
– 60 gr coconut oil
– sweetener (optional)
First, whisk the chestnut puree and melted coconut oil, then add all the other ingredients. Mix everything well and sweeten to taste. Take a baking pan, cover it with foil and add the mass throughout the pan evenly. Cover it with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 5 hours. Voila! We cut the dessert into cubes and serve it. For an extra mix of flavours, you can add a tablespoon of sour cream.
